THE "TOLERANT" BULGARIAN'S CONFESSIONAL 
One of the favorite mantras of many regular propagandists, posing as journalists in the Bulgarian media, is the subject of “the tolerance” of the Bulgarian. Sometimes it is being defined as “notorious”. The interesting thing is that it is almost never explained in detail exactly what tolerance we are speaking about, if there can at all be such a summarized term. Racial, cultural, religious, between the different sexes? The intelligent among us very well understand that tolerance as a term can make sense only if it is categorized properly. But in the frequent praises concerning the Bulgarian tolerance, it is not defined what exactly is that tolerance. Usually the claims are for a tolerance with respect to other cultures, races and religions. Possibly. That’s though, if they stay where they are without trying to be a factor in the very space we have marked as “ours”. So, maybe Bulgarians can be really tolerant towards the Indians for example... but if they stay in India. If some of them decide to get dispersed around the world and try to be peopled here and there, to become nomads and eventually "Gypsies" - end of tolerance! Yes, my friends, unlike so many Bulgarian “pastors”, whose disparaging attitude towards the Gypsies I have witnessed personally, I have a real love towards the Gypsy people. Some of my best friends are Gypsies. These are one of the most unique people I have ever met on the face of the Earth. In many nations, the Gypsies are being treasured as a real wealth for the culture of the given people. In “tolerant” Bulgaria though, this is not by all means so. Of course, there are other nations with racist and discriminative attitudes towards the Gypsies as well. Well, will this be our constant excuse – until when? Or we will continue to overlook the obvious racism, ethnic and racial hate, which are rooted deeply in the hearts and minds of thousands, tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or possibly even millions of Bulgarians. Only God knows the whole truth and the real number. What comes as information to us from time to time, comes through the different sociological researches, which show time and time again how many prejudices a large number of Bulgarians still have against the gypsies. The other windows of information are the comments at the internet forums. There, elated by the protection of anonymity, the Bulgarian confesses everything which we will never hear clearly announced as an official position. I doubt though, that the “tolerant” Bulgarian is being at all purified in this improvised confessional! At least it is relieving that there are also comments, showing common sense and deep resentment from the evil of pedophilia, no matter which ethnicity the victims might be. But until in our society there are those blinded by their own racial delusion and hatred, we cannot remain silent. Let everybody do the conclusions for themselves.
